Hypnosis Mastery

Covert hypnosis, otherwise known as conversational (or Ericksonian hypnosis) is an extremely powerful method which allows you to carry out hypnosis on a subject without their conscious awareness, without having to put the subject to sleep and with no type of classic induction needed. Milton H Erickson was an expert in the field of covert hypnosis and could put his subjects into trance virtually instantaneously by using a simple handshake interrupt pattern.

Rather than using conventional methods of inducing a hypnotic trance such a relaxation and visualization, covert hypnosis works by speaking directly to the subconscious mind. In other words, because the subject is not consciously aware of the covert hypnosis taking place, their critical faculty is already being bypassed and the suggestions being given are therefore being directly absorbed by the subconscious. For this reason, covert hypnosis is by far the most effective and most powerful form of hypnosis there is. Hypnosis has been shown to be much more effective on people when they don't know it's happening to them.

By learning the basic fundamental principles behind how covert hypnosis works, it's true that anyone can become a master hypnotist overnight. Whereas classic hypnosis usually relies on utilizing relaxation techniques until the the subject goes into a hypnotic trance and requires the subject to follow orders or be guided by the hypnotist (direct suggestion), covert hypnosis relies on subliminal persuasion (indirect suggestion) therefore the subject is not aware of what suggestions are being given. The power of suggestion and the power of the subconscious mind should never be underestimated.

The fundamental principles of covert hypnosis are developing and maintaining rapport with the subject, understanding how linguistics and the structure of sentences affect the mind and vice versa, understanding how negative suggestion works and how they can be embedded in sentences, understanding how to create anchors and associations and how to use interrupt patterns. Once these basic fundamental principles are understood, anyone may learn how to become a master hypnotist overnight.
